Stayed one nite at Tuscany where I won a $1,500 jackpot last time but no such luck this time. Went to Vegas for wife's 50th B-Day For the week of Mar 4-9, 2005. I'll be returning to Vegas in October and will spend the week at Orleans instead of checking in and out 3 times, plus this leaves more. Best buffet's were Belligio's, Palms and MGM Grand buffet, all were reasonably priced with great selections of food. Next time I skip Tuscany and Trop and stay at the Orleans. Long, long walk to the room and not worth the money. Stayed for 2 nites at Tropicana and would never stay there again. Food at terrible mike's is very good and cheap. I never win at the Orleans but stay there for the service and great fun book they give you. You can go to many casino's using this shuttle plus they gave me the same room I had last trip with a great strip view. There are many good things about the Orleans especially the shuttle to Gold Coast and Barbary Coast. I love this place, check in was the usual fast and efficient, got a great rate of $40.00 nite Sunday-Wednesday. Checked into my favorite on Sunday, the Orleans Hotel and Casino. Tuscany is worth the money for the huge room you get. Long walk to the room, very confusing lay out.
